7/11 Disney’s Hollywood Studios Update – New “Let the Memories Begin” Sign, Cars 2 Meet & Greet

Hi everyone!

We spent two hours on Saturday at Disney's Hollywood Studios before heading to the Magic Kingdom (you can find our update for the Magic Kingdom here).

We hadn't yet made it over to the Studios since the Cars 2 Meet & Greet had opened (mostly due to a lot of very rainy days).

The last time we had been at the park, the sign out front promoted Star Tours. Now, it is similar to the Magic Kingdom's "Let the Memories Begin" sign. We have a video of the sign on our YouTube channel.

This is the first time we've seen characters greeting guests in front of this area that was built a few months back. We arrived just before 11:30am, which was Tigger and Eeyore's finishing time for the day. Check out our video clip!

 

 

10 minutes wait for Star Tours:

 

 

Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater are in the same spot as before, but now updated for Cars 2. Honestly, I wasn't a huge Cars fan before and never went to the Meet & Greet, but I think that the area looks a lot nicer, brighter and easier to see. We have a video of this as well!
