6/17 Magic Kingdom Update – Confectionery Exterior Revealed, Fantasyland and MK Update

 

I think modern hats on old-time mannequins are probably better in a store like TrenD than at the Emporium. The second mannequin head sort of has a hunting vibe (from a distance the hat looks more like camouflage than a Pirate hat to me):

 

 

A new 40th anniversary truck:

 

 

 

There is a ton of Cars 2 merchandise in the shops, some of it pretty nice – and one shirt shows Mater with the gas joke "Who Backfired?"  

 

 

 

The Firehouse shop closes on July 7th. I was told that the patches are to be moved to City Hall, where they will rotate them in a display (there are thousands of patches in the collection and some also are over at Epcot's Innoventions).
