6/17 Magic Kingdom Update – Confectionery Exterior Revealed, Fantasyland and MK Update
Hi everyone!
We just spent nearly a week in Washington D.C. for Flag Day events, and are back with a large Magic Kingdom update from our visit yesterday! Not that we escaped Disney while out of town – far from it, as I'll show in my Denise's Corner column later today!
There is a new Muppets poster outside of the park, as well as advertising for Cars 2 (I can't wait to see the latter next week!):
Mickey ears that showcase his pants:
We were surprised to find the Main Street Confectionery scrim down, and the red border really looks fantastic! The red border really makes it stand out. We have video here!

More of the Confectionery exterior:
On the side that faces in to Main Street, the coloring looks like an art deco style building – I love it! In the 200,000+ photos I have taken of Walt Disney World since I started Mousesteps, I have very few pictures of the Main Street side of the Confectionery – it never jumped out at me. But it looks so nice now!
