Star Wars Weekends 2011 – Weekend 1 Photos – Including Hyperspace Hoopla!

 

One of the stormtroopers in the skit likes to mock other Star Wars characters behind their backs. Last year, it was Boba Fett, who then blew the stormtrooper away. This year, it was Chewbacca.  Chewbacca ripped his arms off before blowing him away.  We have it on video!

James Arnold Taylor is the host for these 4 weeks. He is a natural fit for this job!  I was surprised we weren't asked questions while waiting in line as we had been in the past, but this year they are trying something new (videotaping guests around the park as they ask questions).  The lady behind me wasn't happy with that, she is a huge fan of Daniel Logan and wanted to ask him a question – and she didn't let up trying to make this happen during the whole show.  I personally think they should go back to the original way of asking questions.

Daniel Logan talked about some of his on-set experiences, including one that involved him tooling around in a golf cart with Ewan McGregor in the early hours of the morning. Logan is now part of the extremely popular show, The Clone Wars.

 

Anthony Daniels was the second guest. He talked about being a human extra in one of the Star Wars films, and a few clips were brought out of him from the past.
