4/12/11 Fantasyland Beast’s Castle – Detailed Look, Angelica from Pirate’s 4 Debuts at the MK!

Hi everyone!

We had taken the weekend off to relax, and during that time the Beast's Castle emerged into the Fantasyland skyline! We went today to get photos and video, and we were told that the new Pirates of the Caribbean 4 character Angelica was having her meet and greet a few days early in Adventureland.

We arrived early to the Magic Kingdom, and the crowds weren't too bad considering it is so close to Easter. (We forgot to check Touring Plans, but that is a great site for learning about anticipated crowd levels for your trip!)

There is a new sign for Magician Mickey on Main Street:

We headed first to the Astro Orbitor, Stitch was greeting guests nearby (and then played with a ball from a cart):

 

 

Our first view of Beast's Castle was from the Astro Orbitor platform, then we headed to Fantasyland. The castle is beautiful!  It alternately looks large and small from different angles, and depending on whether or not workers are on it. With workers on it, you can get a feel for the true height (I love forced perspective!) You can see that view on our video!
