2/10 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Starts Blooming, Magic Kingdom Photo Update
Hi everyone!
It's been several weeks since we've been to Epcot, but that will now change as the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival starts it's preparations! This is one of my favorite times of year at Walt Disney World and it's Mousesteps 5th year of covering the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! This year promises to be better than ever, with a record 75 topiaries gracing the grounds of Epcot! New topiaries for 2011 include favorites from the Pixar family of characters. We have a video of the flower quilt as well.
*Note from 2/14 – I have a new update from 2/13 that spans Pleasure Island, Saratoga Springs Rehab, more of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, new meet and greets at Epcot and the MK, Haunted Mansion queue construction and the end of Toontown!
Check out our coverage from earlier this week of Superbowl MVP Aaron Rogers as he visited the Magic Kingdom! And we have a new sponsor, Garden Grocer – they deliver groceries straight to your resort! I have a lot of friends who use them anytime they come to town.

There was an event being set up in the Epcot parking lot, we actually signed up for it a couple of weeks ago but we may not end up attending due to time constraints. It's called Main Street in Motion (by GM), and allows guests to test drive cars in what is said to be a no-pressure environment.
Walking into Epcot:
We hadn't seen this Vinylmation flag series before:
Preparations for the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival in the area that used to have the sculpture garden. Interested in previous year's photos? Last year I had two parts – here and here! Flower and Garden Festival 2009 photos are here and I also have pictures from 2008 and 2007!
The beautiful flower quilt was just planted. We also have video of it here!
