1/4 Art of Animation Resort Construction Update, Final Osborne Lights, Magic Kingdom
We had been at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday, and while the Adventureland Veranda was no longer open, we tried the offerings at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. This tends to be a seasonal restaurant, but often more often now than it used to be.
I had the Pasta Alfredo with chicken – it reminded me of the Chicken Fusilli at Disneyland, and the chicken version was only like .40 more than the pasta with no meat in it. I was expecting the chicken to be mixed in, but it wasn’t. A generous sized chicken breast (partly cut up) was placed on top of the pasta. I enjoyed it! We don’t eat in the parks often, but I’d get it again.
Jeff had a citrus shrimp salad with mandarin orange dressing:
The Sunshine Tree Terrace now has food options as well through 4pm:
Also, in 35 years of riding Pirates of the Caribbean, I’d never known that Imagineer Marc Davis had his name above the final scene (thanks to Kevin Yee for the info!) It’s always fun to find something new:
Cinderella Castle had it’s final official lighting of the season:
It wasn’t too busy, so we rode the Tomorrowland Speedway. I enjoyed the night view so much, I took a video with my new camera (we now are doing high definition videos).
Signs that show the path of the track here as well as at other Disney parks:

I’m looking forward to another year of bringing you photos and articles from Walt Disney World! I am planning to do another photo walk soon (more than likely an updated Coronado Springs photo walk).
