11/23 The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh New Queue, Main Street, Fantasyland, El Pirata Update
Hi everyone!
We went to the Magic Kingdom to check the new Pooh queue out (we have full video here!) I was hoping to get a ride on Dumbo, but it ended up raining and we scrapped that plan.
Remember we have 500 photos of the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party as well as nearly 200 photos of the Osborne Lights (not including the cast preview we attended) AND 200 pictures of Gaylord Palms ICE! We have videos with these updates too. We were there for the first Cinderella Castle lighting of the season as well! So much more will be coming – I still have hundreds of photos to go through of the Magic Kingdom decorated for Christmas, and the other parks (and all resorts) should be done by the end of December!
We stopped at the Grand Floridian, which is nearly fully decorated (the tree has been up for days), and the reindeer are out even if they weren’t yet lit at night:
Heading into the Magic Kingdom, there were new Victorian Christmas displays in the Emporium. I was told they were completely new this year:
All scrims are now down along Main Street – all the buildings look really great! The windows above Disney Clothiers don’t yet have anything written on them:
The Tomorrowland Terrace didn’t have many noodles anyway, and now “Noodle Station” has been removed from the sign:
El Pirata Y El Perico is still being worked on, but was open for guests. We were thinking of having tacos (we don’t eat counter service at Disney often), but the tacos are now off the menu and prices went up:
The old Skyway station in Fantasyland was easier to see:
A few photos from Pinocchio’s Village Haus over the wall:
Friar’s Nook:
Hundred Acre Goods:
The new Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh queue is wonderful! I hope all of Fantasyland is this well themed.
Inside Pooh’s tree:
The 20,000 Leagues tribute is still there:
Walking through the queue:
Tigger’s Bouncy Place is not yet open:
I love these gophers! You step on a pad on the ground, and they pop out of the holes:
More of the queue:
These hunny screens are really cool! You put your hands on them (probably some hand sanitizer would be a good idea to have :)), and the hunny moves where you put your hand. If you wipe the honey away, you can see Pooh himself!
Wrapping around the queue, there is more to see (including more of Pooh on the hunny screens):
Inside 100 Acre Goods, some of the signage from the former queue is on the ceilings and walls:
Pooh and Tigger passed by us (the skies were just about to open up with lots of rain):
New Phineas and Ferb items:
This gorgeous rainbow was around for quite some time:
It was nearly gone by the time we reached Cinderella Castle, but I did get some nice photos:
