11/21 Gaylord Palms ICE! Media Preview from 11/19

 

We were told by an employee that we should check out the Christmas tree in the hotel (we'd already planned to take a short walk to see the decorations), and we were very glad we did.  There was a rehearsal for at least one of the holiday shows – yes, your ticket buys you more than just time inside ICE! I personally would recommend getting there in the early afternoon, enjoying the ICE exhibit and then seeing the shows and tree lighting ceremony.  The Gaylord Palms hotel offers so much inside to look at, you could really spend a full day if you wanted to.  We stayed for a show last year, but this year we'll do more.  We were VERY impressed with the aerial act that we saw while watching the rehearsal, it was like a little bit of Cirque Du Soleil right in front of our eyes!  The live music was refreshing, and the light sequences were beautiful!
