11/12 Grand Floridian Gingerbread House – Final Touches Added!

Hi everyone!

I was there when the first shingles were being put on the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian, and we stopped by as final touches were being added (and the chef sifted flour over the near-finished structure!)  We even have an extended video from yesterday!

It was pretty cool to see how much had been done in less than 36 hours!  We talked with one of the cast members who told us that most everything on the display is edible (which I hadn't known).  Even the large Santa, Frosty, and some of the trees are made of solid chocolate! Samples were being handed out again – and who can't pass up gingerbread?
