Mickey’s Halloween Party Photos at Disneyland From October, 2010
Hi everyone!
We had a great time at Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland. I have 500 photos from Disneyland of Halloween that are non-Party related already up, as well as Mickey’s-Not So Scary Halloween Party from Walt Disney World.
We went to two Mickey’s Halloween Parties, I have photos in order below of when I took them. The two parties were very different in atmosphere, the second one was being held after a lot of rain – fog/lighting were much less apparent around the park.
Photos before the event officially started:
Stopping for a great dinner at the Plaza Inn, we split this huge meal of fried chicken:
Back outside, the party was starting and fog and lighting were part of the atmosphere on Main Street – I took a few photos in the windows as well:
The Ray Bradbury Halloween Tree in Frontierland:
There was fog over the Rivers of America, and great candy being handed out – chocolate (including by Ghirardelli), Skittles, Tootsie Rolls and such. We brought quite a bit back home:
Before Halloween Screams (a fantastic fireworks show), there was lighting in the castle in the shapes of spiders, witches and more. A lot of photos will look similar, but have enough of a difference for me to include them. When the show starts, the sphere next to the castle shows different characters including Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie and Ursula.

I took video of Mickey’s Costume Cavalcade the first night, photos the second. I did pick up this shirt (which gets a lot of compliments here in Florida):
Some of the candy we collected:
We had unusual weather during our trip – including record breaking high temperatures (around 113 at Disneyland!) and then rain for several days. We arrived to the second Mickey’s Halloween Party when it was raining:
Heading down Main Street, I took some more photos in the windows as well. I had read that there were guests not getting checked for wristbands during the first party (I did not notice that, I thought Disney did a good job at least for the first hour – I was checked many times) – but they did a much more thorough job during the second party.

Some photos from the first Mickey’s Costume Party Cavalcade:
Buzz Lightyear dance party:
Some photos from the fireworks:
Since this was a Tuesday night, many people left early – right after the fireworks, Main Street was filled with guests on their way out:
The scarecrows were walking around:

Ghost Galaxy:
Candy apples:
The last photo I took of the second party had nothing to do with Halloween – I just liked this elephant and hadn’t seen it in a while. But if you want to see many more Disneyland Halloween photos, check out my update of 500 pictures (it includes day and night, Haunted Mansion Holiday and Main Street windows!)
This is a wonderful Halloween Party and I highly recommend it if you are in the Disneyland area!
