10/14 Duffy the Disney Bear Grand Opening Ceremony, New Merchandise at Epcot

 

In Japan, Duffy has a "Minnie", her name is Shellie May.  Two girls from Japan had their Duffy and Shellie May bears with them, dressed in Halloween outfits:

 

 

More around Traders East – inside and outside.  There are small bears to clip to your backpack, 13" Duffy bears that have either Christmas or 40th anniversary Walt Disney World outfits, 17" Duffy bears – those are the ones that the World Showcase (and other) outfits for sale will fit, and the huge 28" Duffy (you can see him on my shoulders) is $60.00.  The World Showcase outfits are very cute, there are several countries not represented yet – Morocco, Norway and Japan. My personal favorite is Germany since I'm such a huge Mr. Pricklepants (from Toy Story 3) fan! Pins were not yet released, nor the popcorn bucket on the first day. Children's placemats at Epcot do have Duffy on them, I'll have photos of that in my next update.
