Disneyland Halloween 2010 Photos, Including Main Street Pumpkins and Haunted Mansion Holiday
Hi everyone!
We just got back from 2 weeks at Disneyland – it was absolutely incredible)! We went to Destination D, we saw some upcoming set pieces for new attractions, went to the Disney Studios, Club 33 and enjoyed the parks.
I took around 5000 photos total this trip – mostly Halloween, Destination D and World of Color.
The photos are mostly in chronological order, although I did group some together (like the really awesome pumpkin carvings at Big Thunder Ranch, we went there many days to check out the new pumpkins).
We took the tram in on several days when a friend picked us up. Even during the tram ride, there are Halloween displays to enjoy. (The other display photo should be in my Mickey’s Halloween Party update). If you’d like to compare Disneyland to Walt Disney World, I have photos of Halloween decorations at WDW here!
When we first arrived, the yellow flowers around the Partners statue were blooming. A few days later, there was a replanting – and you’ll see buds instead of blooms (I’ll have more pumpkin photos later around Walt and Mickey as well).
I now own a Vampire Teddy – I love him! I read that he’d not been at Disneyland for years as a plush, he’s my favorite character in the Haunted Mansion Holiday:

At Disneyland, the main characters dress up in their Halloween outfits during the day to greet guests.

Mickey in his Halloween finery (he also made the rounds as his non-Halloween self, I took video of him conducting the jazz band!)
On the hottest day on record, it was around 113 degrees at the park (very, very hot – even to this Floridian). There was a radio media day there, and some of the characters were shooting promos (maybe just the Villains). I actually just have one photo here from the Villains that day, since I already am getting close to 500 photos on this update!
