8/31 Space Mountain, Best Friends, Fort Wilderness Update

 

We went to Best Friends on Monday to check it out – it’s come a long way since a week or two ago when we were last there.  I don’t mind having a pet resort on property, but I am very disappointed that the kennels at the parks and Fort Wilderness are closing. They are convenient for guests, and the new pet resort is not (especially if you just want to walk your dog midday).  The kennel prices are going up significantly, though the kitty condo prices aren’t much different than what I’ve paid elsewhere. I do like the outside of the building:

 

 

 

We also stopped by Fort Wilderness to meet family for the campfire.  The parking lot appears to be about done, guests are being routed through security and it is supposed to be a permanent change:
