A friend had told us how the new "bricks" at the castle were more deeply textured than the last ones.  You can see the difference in the photos:

There have been many incarnations of what is now called the Frontierland Hoedown (in front of the Country Bear Jamboree) – a few weeks ago it was updated, the character performers are the Country Bears and Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear.  They walk in from behind Splash Mountain (the cast member performers also walk out, dressed as cast members from around Frontierland).  They way it happens looks almost organic, and it's easy to get caught in the middle of the performance before you know what is going on.  Guests are encouraged to be part of the action – and songs include "The Hokey Pokey".
