BoardWalk Luna Park, Epcot, Magic Kingdom Construction Update From January 28, 2010
Hi everyone!
It has been about a week since my last photo update, I was out of town in Washington D.C. to see family.
Our update encompasses the BoardWalk Luna Park pool, as well as EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom.
The Boardwalk Luna Park pool – it looks like most of the rehab work is currently being done on the slide:
The clown face has scaffolding in front of it.
The BoardWalk itself was very empty:
An interesting billboard above the ESPN Club:
Tables and chairs for an evening party at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club:
I went into Epcot – looking across the water at Mexico, you can no longer see the Cantina:
The new pizza restaurant going up in Italy – we were told by a manager that it’d be mostly table service (he said that Mexico was also putting in a new table service where the Cantina was), but I have no idea if that is definitely the case.
Looking towards China:

China:
Stitch was hanging out by himself at the front of EPCOT.
The flowers look beautiful in front of Spaceship Earth:
At the TTC, the Ferry Boat slip is still being worked on:
Work is going on between the Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom:
Neither of the Magic Kingdom brochures showed an attraction that was currently open or available to guests:
The Main Street Train Station is undergoing some sort of rehab:
Inside the Main Street Emporium:
Thanksgiving Mickey and Minnie salt and pepper shakers:
Toy Story flying disc:
The Crystal Palace facade is down, the moat mostly refilled, and there is some work being done next to the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor:
The Sunshine Tree Terrace has a wall around it now:
Shrunken Ned’s Junior Jungle Boats are back up and running:
Splash Mountain:
The roof of Mrs Potts is nearly done:
Additional work being done in Tomorrowland:
Cinderella Castle has a new facade in front, and a small portion of the moat is dry around it. The water looks almost sudsy:
The Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station is behind a scrim:
The ending of the Cinderella Castle stage show:
Pinocchio looked like he was helping with the balloons.
The other side of the Main Street train station:
Work at the Beach Club Villas:
Set-up for the party getting ready at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club beach:
I should have another update tomorrow (at latest on Saturday!)
