8/4 Bay Lake Tower, The Land, Downtown Disney and McDonalds Photo Update

 

At the Bay Lake Tower, there are key card slots nearly everywhere.    I ended up waiting in some places – like at the 4th floor bridge – to follow others into the resort.   Not that there was much to see, and you can walk into the back of the BLT from the Contemporary.  I did take some video of the back of the resort, that is here!

Over at the Bay Lake Tower, the main lobby is very tiny.  I did not take more than one photo, it was just too busy with guests who appeared mostly to be waiting for tours from the DVC van below:

 

 

 

 

The pool seemed small (IMHO) compared to the size of the BLT, with guests filling the pool mid-afternoon.  Everything at the Bay Lake Tower needs a key card, which makes it feel uninviting and like the fortress I mentioned – instead of a resort.  Of the 3 new DVC additions, my favorite is the updated Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs.
