6/7 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Coming Down (But Not Yet All)

Hi everyone!

Epcot is tearing down the Flower and Garden Festival components, though not all were gone when I was there on Sunday.  It was none too soon, the flowers had run amok since we had 2 weeks of rain. 🙂  One week ago I went to the wonderful D23 event, on the last official day of the Festival. (Update – D23 even sent out a new pin to first day members, you can see that here!)

The main topiary and the area behind Spaceship Earth where Sorcerer Mickey once stood were now back to normal:

 

 

 

The sand sculptures were actually taken down early, after the rain damaged them.  They were across the way:

The Flower and Garden Festival shop near Canada now sells park merchandise:

 

 

Canada looks amazing now, I think that it is even more beautiful than it was during the Flower and Garden Festival.  The topiary arrangement with Bambi, Thumper and Flower was still standing yesterday:
