3/27/09 Update: Contemporary Resort Bay Lake Tower Construction, Characters in Flight +

Hi everyone!

I was hoping to catch Characters in Flight up today, but missed it – the balloon was flying around 7:30 this morning and was up and down for an hour or two.  (I arrived at 10am).

Some images from Characters in Flight today, including a new sign.  The attraction is set to open April 1st, though that could always change.  Testing could happen tomorrow, otherwise likely Monday as Sunday isn’t looking good weatherwise.  (I was told that today by the Pilot).

Tomorrowland rocks being repainted:

Stitch’s Supersonic Celebration is under construction.

The former site of the Galaxy theater:

Tomorrowland Terrace is open tonight from 5 – 9.

The Contemporary Resort Bay Lake Tower construction is nearing completion.

The Contemporary pool is open, but work is still being done in the area:
