Toy Story Midway Mania Preview at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Photos from May 8th, 2008

Hi everyone!

Eric from Orlando Fun Tickets invited me to a preview party of Toy Story Midway Mania last night (May 8th, 2008) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. What a fun evening! Here are the photos.

Last night, I met Eric at 7pm in front of the turnstiles to the park.

We met up with Rebekah from the Laughing Place website and were given a scavenger hunt.

 

We made it through half of the scavenger hunt, when one CM told us that Midway Mania was open.  We debated for a second, then decided to ride (we completely ditched the hunt at that point!) Here are photos.

 

Outside:

We didn’t have any appreciable wait (5 minutes or less the 3 times we rode).  I can’t imagine that happening again anytime soon!  I’ll say now that I loved the attraction.   From the building, to the queue, to the ride – I think it’s a great addition to the Studios.

I miss my old Spirographs!  I loved seeing all the vintage toys in the queue.
