Me petting a small alligator.  It wasn’t what I thought it would feel like – it was very smooth, not too dry (i.e.  – not scaly).

There was a large enclosure of baby alligators and turtles:

Tortoises (the one was yawning):

We went to the Gator Jumparoo Show.   The gators weren’t really competing much for the chicken, but it was fun to see the couple of gators who were hungry.   All of the actors in this (the ones feeding the gators) were part of the other shows.  “Bubba” was our alligator wrestler earlier.

This one was so interesting, and kept scratching his chin (like he was thinking):

On our way out, a bird in the trash can:

It was really a fun day – we arrived at 9, and left at 1:30.   I could have stayed and just hung out for a while longer, and we didn’t have lunch or go to the gift shop.  We missed the aviary too.   The park is touted as a “half day park”, but it’d be pretty easy to make it a full day.  There are quite a few extra charge items – food if you want to feed the animals, photos on top of the gators, the train ride, etc.  But the day starts out pretty inexpensively (and the food didn’t look badly priced either).  There is no parking charge.
