Disney’s Contemporary Resort Construction, New 4th Floor Shop Open (November 20, 2007)

I went  today to meet family at Animal Kingdom, and stopped at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on the way.  I’d been told by a cast member that the new store on the 4th floor would be opening (it did).   I was told by a manager that they hoped to have the large section of the lobby finished by tomorrow (it wasn’t).

I was told by a CM last week that the shop was now expected to open today. And it did.  I think it’s a cute store, but in the wrong place (I love the mural, and the large window – both now blocked by the shop).  The shop is currently in soft opening.
