Yak and Yeti – almost ready! Boardwalk Resort construction work, Bellvue breakfast

I was hoping to have this update up earlier, but my poor computer is running out of memory. 🙂   I deleted some files, so I was able to get these up! 

This morning I had a 7:00am breakfast meet with some RADP members.  I don't know if they are okay with me posting their pics here, but for now – I'll post a GREAT place to stop for a continental breakfast on the Boardwalk.   The Ballvue Room, which is a lovely lounge at night.  I had no idea they did breakfast too!

I just wanted to mention it, because the Boardwalk Bakery is always so busy.   Some pics:

I was working on my Animal Kingdom photo walk (that will take a number of visits to complete, but at least it's started), and stopped at Yak and Yeti.  If you've seen my photos over the last month, it hasn't looked very ready.  But today there was food cooking inside (it smelled great!!!) and a manager told me they were looking for the walls to come down the night of November 13th.  As it's construction, it's not a guaranteed date – but it is what they are shooting for.  I didn't believe it last week, I do this week!   There are so many rumors about when it's open, but I'll be there hopefully opening day no matter when it is.

 

Update – Disney Dining is now confirming an 11/14 opening date!  (as of 11/8)
