9/13 Halloween and the Haunted Mansion Reopens!
Master Gracey, Leota and Marc all had roses on their stones:
The ride still has many of the same features – the audio in the stretch room is great, very crisp. Though the first time I rode it today, there was a loud sound (probably an audio glitch) that I hoped wasn't part of the attraction! At the end of the stretch room monologue, the sound of fluttering bats is very pronounced (as is the breaking glass). It really puts a "point" on the end of the stretch room sequence.
As I mentioned, it's really dark! Off to the left, there are stairs with footprints that are walking around them:
Leota's head now floats, just like in Disneyland:
We also have the bride (from Disneyland) who has been picking off her husbands:
That is it for the Haunted Mansion! I really enjoyed the update – it was well worth the three month wait for it.
