Give Kids the World Luncheon for Volunteers w/Henri & Pam Landwirth
Anyone who spends time with me has heard about Give Kids the World. I’ve been a volunteer for almost 3 years – not as often as I used to, I now live 45 miles away instead of 10. I can’t imagine my life without being close enough to volunteer.
The great news is that that Give Kids the World has a growing legion of “visiting volunteers”. If you live somewhere else, and are coming to Disney to visit, you can call Give Kids the World at 407-396-0770 and arrange a volunteer shift. You’d definitely need a rental car – it’s in Kissimmee near the Super Wal Mart on 192. If you are local, even better. This is the time of the year where many volunteers head back home to northern states until fall.
Give Kids the World loves its volunteers! They had a luncheon for active volunteers, over 1300 “angels” this year.
It is always a nice event.

Pamela Landwirth:
Henri Landwirth is probably the most inspirational man I’ve ever met. I told him yesterday that I could listen to him talk all day – he’s got such an amazing story, he’s so humble, but with a vision to help as many people as possible. Not only did he start Give Kids the World, but he has since started Dignity U Wear and Hate Hurts.
Even if you can’t volunteer your time, there are other ways to help Give Kids the World, check out their website.
